The Valentines Trial II
Patient Enrollment for the Valentines Trial II done
Throughout Cardiovascular Research Technologies (CRT) 2011
The concept of the Valentines Trial II will remain like the Valentines I: enrollment period from 14th February 2011 (Valentine Day) to the last day of the CRT congress (1st March 2011).
There are two major differences:
- We will address de novo lesions (see attached Protocol)
- Only selected centers are invited to this trial (50 centers from around the globe)
Again the CRT congress and Ron Waksman will be involved, and we are proud to
announce three Principle investigators:
Dr. Alfredo Rodriguez (Argentina), Dr. Antonio Serra (Spain), Dr. Fazila Malik (Bangladesh).

Eurocor GmbH
Eurocor GmbH (Bonn, Germany) will provide the DIOR® drug-eluting balloon for use in the trial and will manage both the trial and its investigators via its own organization and the international distributor network. All data for analysis will be collected via an electronic data capture system and analyzed within the Cardiovascular Research Institute Data Coordinating Center of the Washington Hospital Center.
